The Flash Season 1 tells the story of a little boy named Barry Allen (Grand Gustin) who saw his mother killed by a strange thing. Due to the killing, Barry's father a suspect of the murder and sentenced to life imprisonment. But Barry believes that his father is not the culprit. 15 years later, Barry was raised by a friend of his father who was a detective named Joe West (Jesse L Martin). Barry grew up working in the police forensic reliable part in the crime.
One day suddenly in his house, Barry struck by lightning accompanied by an explosion in the STAR Lab. As a result of the incident, he was in a coma for nine months. By the time Barry realized, the state of his body into a muscular and his injuries heal faster. Dr. Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) said Barry has super strength to run as fast as lightning is not shared by ordinary people as seen by Barry feels slow eyes.
With these capabilities, Barry helps fight crime in Central City with the help of Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes), Dr Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) and Dr Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh). However unwittingly, it was not just him who became superhuman or often called Meta Human. The blast that occurred nine months ago, many people who have superhuman abilities and used for evil. One by one, Barry as The Flash will face other super humans who commit crimes and searching for the killer of his mother. This is so that he can free his father from prison on murder charges against her in the past.
